Description:
------------
Could you please add to the documentation for the session extension and let it reflect on the necessity for a script owner to be the owner for the directory in session.save_path as well (at least if the file handler is used for storage)?

As it is now, quite a number of users are running into trouble with their preexisting configuration when updating.

Thanks.

let it reflect on the necessity for a script owner to be the owner for
the directory in session.save_path as well (at least if the file handler
is used for storage and safe mode is enabled)?

As it is now, quite a number of users are running into trouble with
their preexisting configuration when updating.

Thanks.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

"The owner of a script must be the same as owner of a session.save_path directory if the default files session.save_handler is used." at http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.safe-mode.functions.php
