Bug #40015 odbtp 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 doesn't work with PHP 5.2 and above?

i am upgrading PHP 5.0.3 to PHP 5.2. Finally i am getting oracle and mssql to work but odbtp has failed. I've tried install the latest odbtp 1.1.4 but it doesn't seem to work. odbtp 1.1.3 had failed during php startup. i checked odbtp 1.1.4, it looks like it's only supporting up to 5.1.x php version. i am not sure if this is considered a bug but i just want to see if anyone is able to get php 5.2 to work with odbtp.  -- thanks!
