I cannot find any information about PDO::FETCH_SERIALIZE fetch mode for PDO. Could you please provide an example for its usage since the only place where it is mentioned is in the fetch modes list but nothing more.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
