Description:
------------
Have downloaded the latest version of PHP 5 (5.1.2) and installed it on my machine and suddenly Apache would no longer start. After much searching it turns out that php5ts.dll was somehow causing the problem. I replaced the new version with the version in the backup folder and apache started again.

To reproduce setup apache 2.0 on Windows XP with PHP 5.0.2 all should work fine
Update PHP by installing PHP 5.1.2 and attempt to restart apache. Apache should fail.
Replace php5ts.dll with PHP 5.0.2's version and the service should restart when requested

I don't have Windows, so I'm afraid I'm not able to do it.
Please provide the error messages you see and any entries in error_log related to this problem.
But before that please check that you've deleted all .dll's from 5.0.5 install.

Make sure to remove all remains on the old PHP install. PHP 5.1.2 works just fine with Apache2.
