at mcal_time_valid description you have 
mcal_time_valid --  Returns TRUE if the given year, month, day is a valid time 
but should be
mcal_time_valid --  Returns TRUE if the given hour, minutes, seconds is a valid time

sry if im wrong with this bug;
PS there is so much resistance just for writing about this stuff

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
