Description:
------------
Hi, I had problems with base dirs issues in the previous php version, so I upgraded. So far, that seems to have been sorted out nicely. But, I can't use my apps as a new problem exists with all my apps - Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect().

I have checked EVERYWHERE about this - I have tried the latest mysql, but no change. I thought it may be the config in my php - but as you can see from the phpinfo address attached, it "appears" to include mysql - however I did see in the ./configure stage that it didn't pick up on the socket location.

You can see the error at this page - which worked fine until this version was installed.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

You compiled mysql as a shared extension, but you didn't load it.
