When I try to send stuff through POST, the variables don't hold the values that were assigned to them, they turn out to be "" but not NULL... It worked before I installed PHP 4.2.2.
I compiled php with the following command line:
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
in my httpd.conf file, I have:
<Limit POST>
   Order allow,deny
   allow from all
</Limit> 
as part of my root directory, I thought that would make it work, but it didn't. Part of the script that I wrote called mysql and handed variables with nothing it. When I discovered that it was doing this, I echoed the values of the variables and they printed ''. I don't know whats wrong but it's probably something stupid I forgot to do, so any help would be appreciated.

In PHP 4.2.0, the 'register_globals' setting default changed to
be off. See http://www.php.net/release_4_2_0.php for more info.
We are sorry about the inconvenience, but this change was a necessary
part of our efforts to make PHP scripting more secure and portable.
