apache 1.2.23

Syntax error on line 247 of /usr/local/apache/httpd_1.2.23/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/httpd_1.2.23/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/local/apache/httpd_1.2.23/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: pthread_getspecific

i can't get php-4.2.0 working with apache 1.2.23.

i always get this error message.

Update your apache. And get PHP 4.2.1. Reopen if you still
get this with the latest releases.

Apache 1.3.24 is the latest stable Apache which definately
works with PHP 4.2.1.

(and remove that '--with-servlet' from your configure line..you can only choose ONE sapi at the time)
