It works in the php 4.1.1 but not in the 4.2.0 .
I try to fetch a row by rownumber with odbc_fetch_row from an oracle db. To me it looks like cursors are not working corectly but i could be wrong

There was enough information to see that you encountered an already reported bug. It's fixed in CVS, you can try a stable snapshot from snaps.php.net, or wait for 4.2.1RC2 (which will be released lated today) to test if it works for you.
