Is there any reason that this function is_a() does not work for php classes? If I create a domxml object $xml and do

is_a($xml, get_class($xml));

it returns false...something seems wrong about that. This is not a strtolower problem either...this function works fine for user defined classes, but refused to even operate on objects created by php's functions.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the
CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation
problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/.
In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites.
