When PHP generates an in page error, the
tag is not formatted properly. Specifically, I called trigger_error('text', E_USER_WARNING) and got
Warning: text in e:\webbase\scripts\php\nimises.inc on line 354
This was reported for 4.0.6 but appears to be back. I am running the precompiled Windows binary, PHP 4.1.1.
