Bug #27559 open_basedir + tempnam, move_uploaded_file and copy problems
Submitted: 2004-03-10 21:08 UTC Modified: 2005-01-31 23:26 UTC
From: viktors at rotanovs dot com Assigned:
Status: Closed Package: Safe Mode/open_basedir
PHP Version: 4CVS-2004-03-11 OS: Linux
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
[2004-03-10 21:08 UTC] viktors at rotanovs dot com
Description:
------------
I get the following message when using tempnam() function:

tempnam(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/opt/tmp/php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/www:/opt/php/lib/php:/opt/tmp/uploads:/etc/usermap:/opt/tmp/php) in /www/foto.inbox.lv/util.php on line 1492

Note that /opt/tmp/php _is_ within a list of allowed paths. Similar errors with copy() and move_uploaded_file().

move_uploaded_file() has no problems with the snapshot.
so, the bug is now only in tempnam() function.
